在献陵以西，之间隔着朱常洛的庆陵的是裕陵，是明朝第六位皇帝英宗睿皇帝朱祁镇和皇后钱氏、周氏的合葬陵寝。
睿皇帝朱祁镇是宣宗朱瞻基的长子。<br><br>

他生前的职业履历比一般的皇帝要丰富：
1427年出生；
1428年被立为皇太子；
1436年即皇帝位，年号正统。成为明朝的第六位皇帝；
1449年“土木堡之变”成为蒙古瓦剌部也先的俘虏，同年又被尊为太上皇；
1450年被放回明朝成为他的弟弟景泰朱祁钰的囚犯；
1457年“夺门之变”后成功复辟，改年号天顺。第二次成为了明朝的第八位皇帝
1464年朱祁镇去世前，并废除了嫔妃殉葬的制度。享年37岁，庙号英宗，谥曰法天立道仁明诚敬昭文宪武至德广孝睿皇帝。两次登基的在位时间22年；<br><br>

所以准确地说，朱祁镇应该是第六位和第八位皇帝，是明朝历史上唯一一位做个两次皇帝，并拥有两个年号的皇帝。能够把“皇帝”这个职业也能做到二进宫，并且是从太上皇转回皇帝的，在皇帝这个行业里并不多见！<br><br>

朱祁镇的一生并不算光彩，他宠信小人，打过败仗，当过俘虏，做过囚犯，杀过忠臣，这些都很难与好皇帝画上等号。但他是一个好人。他相信了在他身边的每一个人，也能够和善待人，镇定自若，就连敌人，最后都成为了他的朋友。而在他临终之时，废除了自朱元璋以来实行的嫔妃殉葬制度，更是为他不太光彩的人生增添一点点亮彩吧！<br><br>

从献陵沿昌赤路向西，先路过位于路边的朱常洛的庆陵。再向西不远，有条不起眼的小路，拐向北就是裕陵了。首先看到的是明朝嘉靖朱厚熜增建的无字功德碑，只是原来的碑亭被清朝的乾隆弘历给拆了，改成四面齐胸宇墙。<br><br>

向北是三座单孔石桥，石桥上的栏板应该是近年补上的。从功德碑穿过石桥，一直到陵门的地面上还可以看到明朝神道的，中间墁的是城砖，两侧是小块的鹅卵石。神道的尽头就是裕陵陵宫的裬恩门。<br><br>

裬恩门的台基和下面的月台还是明朝原物，月台前是城砖墁的礓礤路。裬恩门上面是黄琉璃瓦的单檐歇山顶，面阔三间，进深三间，侧间里各有一段残墙。这是清朝修缮时缩小了的裬恩门的左右山墙遗迹。内部由于大门紧闭，就连门缝都糊得严实，而无法得见。据记载，祾恩殿的台基、月台均较完整。明代的柱础石均完好保存，一共24块，均为鼓镜形制，后檐墙及两侧山墙已不完整。第二进院落的三座门，除琉璃件稍有残次、门扇无存外，保存的基本完好。院内棂星门的石柱及前后抱鼓、门砧石、门限石均保存完好，柱间残存已经腐朽的楠木件。<br><br>

石五供均较完好。方城的城墙和月台基本完整。城台下的礓礤路破损严重。明楼的台基与方城的城台地面基本持平，楼体稍有残坏。楼内圣号碑保存完好，只是碑趺为二层下枋。宝城内的琉璃照壁残坏严重，垛墙、宇墙大多残坏。虽然朱祁镇的裕陵，在营建上基本沿用他父亲和祖父的制度，但是在一些细节上，还是非常有他的特点：<br><br>

一是在石五供和棂星门的左右两侧，各有一对“树盂”。盂身、盂座均为石雕。盂身中空为圆坑形，由两半对拼而成。盂座为须弥座式。树盂的设置在十三陵中仅见于裕陵及其后的茂陵。
二是祾恩殿柱础石的上面均凿刻有卯口，用来固定柱榫，以增强稳定性。这一柱础石形制在十三陵中属于孤例。<br><br>
